Edward Francis Groves, 45 - Edward Francis Groves of Manahawkin, formerly of West Orange, passed away suddenly on Thursday June 14, 2012. Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 22, 2012 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 9:00 AM then to Saint Rose of Lima Church, 312 Ridgedale Ave. in East Hanover for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visiting will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 6 PM at Maxwell Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road in Manahawkin and on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Alliance for a Living Ocean, 1101 Central Ave. Suite A, Ship Bottom, NJ 08008. Mr. Groves was born in Glen Ridge and raised in West Orange before moving to Manahawkin 25 years ago. He was self employed working in the Shore area. Ed had various hunting and Motorcycle Club affiliations. He enjoyed his personal race boat as well as being an avid hunter and spending time with his two Short Haired Pointers, Smokey & Bonz. Mr. Groves was the beloved son of the late Timothy F. and Emilia Groves. Cherished grandson
