Rita DiLorenzo, 80 - Rita DiLorenzo (nee Rotondi) of Brick passed away on Tuesday April 3, 2012 at her home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 8:30 AM then to Saint Joseph's Church, 44 Benvenue Ave. in West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visiting will be Friday 7-9 PM & Saturday 2-4 & 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to The Rita DiLorenzo Scholarship Fund, c/o Union City High School, 2500 Kennedy Blvd., Union City, NJ 07087 and the Leukemia Research Foundation, 3520 Lake Ave., Suite 202, Wilmette, IL 60091. Mrs. DiLorenzo was born and raised in Hoboken, living in Union City before moving to Brick 16 years ago. She was a homemaker. Rita was a member of the Pavilion Women's Club. Mrs. DiLorenzo was the beloved wife of the late Anthony DiLorenzo. Devoted mother of Gary DiLorenzo and his wife Linda, Karen DiLorenzo and the late Mark DiLorenzo. Loving sister of Irene Citro, Anthony Rotondi, and Philip Rotondi. Cherished grandmother of Tony, Chris, Mark Jr., and Lisa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
