Laura Ellen Burke, 64 - Laura E. Burke of West Orange passed away on Sunday March 18, 2012. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday March 22, 2012 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 9:00 AM then to Saint John's Church. Ridge Street in Orange for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Orange. Visiting will be Wednesday from 4- 8 PM. Flowers will be accepted along with donations in her name to the Homeless Animal Adoption League, 56 Dodd Street, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. Miss Burke was born in Orange and resided most of her life in West Orange. She was a Case Worker for the State of New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services for 35 years. Miss Burke was the beloved sister of Bonnie Gardner and her husband Steve, Jay and his wife Dineen and Chris and his wife Debra. Cherished Aunt of Adam, Shawn, Stephanie. Nicole, Sara Kate, Justine and Luke. Loving great Aunt of Colin.
