Dorothy Norton, 99 - Dorothy Norton (nee Calpin) of Ocean Grove, formerly of West Orange passed away on Wednesday February 29, 2012. Funeral Services will be held on Monday March 5, 2012 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 10:00 AM then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair. Visiting will be Sunday 3-7 PM. Mrs. Norton was born in Scranton, PA and lived in Orange, West Orange and Blairstown before moving to Ocean Grove 4 years ago. Dorothy was a Cafeteria Worker for Stoffer Food Services in Newark for 25 years. She was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Church Rosary Altar Society and the Degnan Senior Citizens. Mrs. Norton was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Norton. Devoted mother of Joseph and his wife Kathleen, James and his wife Carol, and the late Marie and Mary Jane Norton. Loving sister of Helen McDonough, and the late Sister Noralene Calpin, IHM, Thomas Calpin, Joseph Calpin and Marie Flaherty. Cherished grandmother of Joseph Norton, Gina Pringle and her husband Edward, Lisa Norton, Michael Norton and his wife Maritza, and Melissa Szmanski. She is also survived by 7 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
