Obituary of Rose Fledman

Rose Fledman, 93 - Rose Feldman (nee Adler) of Hackettstown died on October 24, 2010. Arrangements are by The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange. Mrs. Feldman was born in Newark, NJ in 1917 and one of seven children she went on to be an accomplished concert piano player on radio and in the talkies. Married at 17 to Jack H. Schorr who became an Optometrist she had two sons Sigmund & Robert. Later married to Nathan Feldman, she worked in accounting departments for Aristocrat Leather of Newark and Microlab company in Livingston. Rose was also well known for her knitting skills and enjoyed making baby clothes and afghans for her growing family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren to whom she loved very much. She leaves behind many great memories of her drive and perseverance. Strong willed she taught all who knew her that hard work and being honest were the only way to succeed. She was predeceased by husbands Jack Schorr and Nathan Feldman, all her brothers and sisters, her son Dr. Robert Schorr of Modesto California and a grandson Joshua Schorr. Surviving are: In California daughter-in-law, Helen Schorr and Helen's daughter daughter Dr. Zoey Gore and husband Richard Gore, their children Edina & Eitan, Zachery & Tara Schorr, Esqs. their daughter Aria of Los Angles, Erin & Leon Schorr Esq. with their children Raya & Avi of San Diego. In New Jersey she leaves behind her son Sigmund Schorr, daughter in-law Sara, their daughter Heather Schorr Kourpas, husband Harry and their children Seth, Julia, and son Chad and wife Cybele Schorr and their daughter Marlowe. All will miss her dearly.
