Obituary of Josephine Stella Patuto

Josephine Stella Patuto, 94 - Josephine S. Patuto (nee DiGaetano) of West Orange passed away on Wednesday February 29, 2012 at her home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday March 3, 2012 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange at 8:30 AM then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover. Visiting will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Letters of condolence may be sent to danglerfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to The American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005. Mrs. Patuto was born in Orange and was a life long resident of West Orange. She was a Receptionist working for Kessler Institute in West Orange for many years. Mrs. Patuto was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Church Mr. & Mrs. Club, the Rosary Altar Society and a Bingo Volunteer for decades. She was also the past National Vice President of the Post Office Women's Auxiliary. Mrs. Patuto was an avid golf player and enjoyed spending time in Naples, Florida. Mrs. Patuto was the beloved wife of 70 years of Matthew Herman Patuto. Devoted mother of Teresa Sousa (John), and Matt (Adelyn). Loving sister of Larry DiGaetano, and the late Frank, Carmen, Anna Longo, Viera Rogoski, Louis and Nick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
