Obituary of Euphemia Marie Fierro

Euphemia "Marie" Fierro, 94 Euphemia "Marie" Fierro (nee Falcone),94, of West Orange passed away on Monday December 25, 2017. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday December 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Euphemia's name to : St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 14 Memphis, TN 38148-0142. Marie was born in West Orange and was a lifelong resident. She worked for the West Orange Board of Education as a secretary for many years, working at Gaston Street School, Gregory Avenue School, retiring from Saint Cloud School. Marie loved Bingo and was an avid poker player. Marie was the beloved wife for over 60 years to the late Carmino (Herman/Hank)Fierro. Devoted mother of Rosemary Smith and her husband Richard, Carmine and his wife Jacqueline. Loving sister of the late Frank Falcone, Samuel Falcone, Louis Falcone, and Lee Barra. Cherished grandmother of Lynne Sibilia and her husband Richard, Kim McMurry and her husband Bill, Eric Fierro and his wife Robin, Joanna Fierro, and the late Samantha Fierro. Great-Grandmother of 8, she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
