Obituary of Ellen Maureen McCann

Ellen Maureen McCann,86 Ellen Maureen McCann (nee Coll),86, of Lakeland Florida, formerly of West Orange passed away on Friday December 1, 2017 . Ellen was predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, James Elwood McCann in 1999 and her two sons, Michael McCann in 1981 and Robert S. McCann in 1995. She is survived by her daughter Maureen M. Haller (son-in-law, Stephen P. Haller, Esq.) of Randolph, NJ and her son James W. McCann of Sarasota, Florida. Ellen is survived by five beloved grandchildren: Michael Sean Haller and his wife Rebecca, Lauren Elise Haller, Michael McCann, Kristina McCann Politi, and Natasha McCann. Ellen was a devoted mother and wonderful Irish woman. She filled our lives with joy and will be missed forever. She worked at Bamberger's- Macy's for over 20 years as a Furniture Central Complaint Supervisor in Newark. Her last years were clouded by illness, but we will never forget her lively wit and sense of humor and devotion to her family. Ellen attended Our Lady of the Valley School and Our Lady of the Valley Girls High School in Orange, NJ. Funeral Services and interment will be arranged by Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange in West Orange, NJ. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange. The Graveside Service will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Our family invites you to attend the Mass or Graveside Service.
