Obituary of Joseph Anthony Rubinetti

Joseph Anthony Rubinetti, 94 Joseph A. Rubinetti, 94, of West Orange passed away on Thursday May 4, 2017. Visiting will be held on Tuesday May 9, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joseph's name to VFW Glennon-Sayers Post # 376, 66 Main Street, PO Box 7, West Orange, NJ 07052. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Saint John's Church, 94 Ridge Street in Orange. Interment will follow at Saint John's Cemetery. Joseph was born in West Orange and was a lifelong resident. He was an Administrator working for NJ Transit in Newark. Mr. Rubinetti proudly served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. While in the service he attained the rank of Sergeant and was awarded the American Service Medal, EAME Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. Mr. Rubinetti took great pride in serving our country. Joseph was the devoted husband of the late Claire (nee Ferraro) Rubinetti. Loving brother of Julia A. Rubinetti and the late Thomas Rubinetti. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
