Mary Elizabeth Kelly, nee Orzechowski, passed away unexpectedly on July 19th leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew her.

Born in the Bronx, New York to parents Bernard and Rosemary Orzechowski, she was a parishioner of St Ann’s Catholic parish and attended St. Ann’s Elementary School and St. Barnabas High School.

Mary is survived by her loving husband Michael, brother Joseph and his wife Alison. Mary was Ciocia (aunt) to Justin, Aubree, Christina and her husband Cameron.

Mary leaves behind extended family Billy and Patty, Lynne, Bobby, along with nieces and nephews who all loved and adored her.

Mary worked for McKinsey & Company for 25 years before working at Verizon as a manager in Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis for the past 15 years.

Mary lived a life defined by a beautiful spirit and an exceptionally big heart. She was a natural anchor for her family and friends, offering a soft place to land during hard times and a joyful laugh when it was time to celebrate. Her effortless generosity and profound kindness left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to be in her life.

In keeping with Mary’s generous spirit, she gave the gift of life through organ donation. It was her final act of kindness.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 29th from 3-7pm at Dangler’s Funeral Home, 420 Main St., in West Orange.

Funeral services will be at 11am on July 30th at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange.
