Susan Stock, age 72, passed away peacefully after a long battle with heart failure on July 11, 2025. She was born on June 27,1953 to her loving parents, Helen and Hank Ostlund, and she attended Mountain High School before building a life with her beloved family.

Sue was a beach baby, spending the summers of her childhood in Breton Woods and Point Pleasant, and her later life in LBI. She was always happiest at the shore. Sue deeply loved people and animals, and she is remembered for her brilliant, bright smile, her exceptional kindness and compassion, and her welcoming and loving friendship.

Sue was a loyal member of the West Orange Seniors Club. She was often found on the sidelines of her grandsons’ sports games and activities cheering them on, or volunteering with her community and church. Sue delivered holiday packages to children and shut-ins, visited those who were sick, and transported any who didn’t have a ride. She was especially passionate about her work with the food ministry and outreach to the homeless.

Susan is survived by her loving husband Robert (Bob); their daughter Lorie (McDonald) and her family, including Sue’s two beloved grandsons, Ben and Henry, and her son-in-law Tim; as well as her brother, Glenn, and her niece, Penny.

All of those she loved and touched deeply.
