Marilyn Young, (nee Brennan) age 72, of West Orange, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, surrounded by the love and care of her family. A devoted mother, grandmother, and sister, Marilyn leaves behind a lasting legacy of warmth, kindness, and unconditional love.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robin P. Young, with whom she shared 50 wonderful years of marriage. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership, and together, they built a life rooted in devotion, family, and deep connection.

Marilyn was a true foodie, and no meal was ever complete without a sweet treat to follow. She also found joy in watching Hallmark Channel movies in her free time.

She is survived by her three daughters: Christine Cain (Peter), Jennifer Bliss (Andrew), and Alexis Salvatoriello (Gary), along with six cherished grandchildren—Sydney, Kyra, Riley, Kelsey, Rocco, and Adrianna - who brought her endless pride and joy. In her final days, Marilyn was lovingly cared for by her sister, Kathryn DeZao, whose steady presence and unwavering devotion brought her great comfort and peace. Their bond, quiet yet profound, reflected a lifetime of loyalty, love, and mutual respect.

Marilyn possessed a quiet strength, a generous spirit, and a heart that was always open. While her passing leaves an irreplaceable void, those who knew her will carry her memory with them—in every family gathering and every moment where love and grace prevail.
