Luis (Louis) Fernando Rivera, 57, of West Orange, NJ passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022.

A Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lake Church in Verona, NJ (32 Lakeside Ave) on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 10:00AM.

Luis was born in Lima, Peru to Luis Rivera and Dalinda Martinez on July 5, 1965. He immigrated to the United States at 5. He graduated from Newark VO-Tech High School in 1984. He worked as a HVAC Draftsman for Local 25 for 28 years. He was later self-employed for 12 years.

He enjoyed building Lego’s and was an avid aquarist.

Luis is survived by his wife, Ivonne Rivera, of 37 years. He is survived by his children, Christina Binns and Erik L. Rivera. He is survived by his mother, Dalinda Martinez; brother, Javier Rivera; grandson, Owen Binns; and nieces and nephews.
