Obituary of Grace Margaret Brennan, 89

Grace M. Brennan( nee Barr), 89 – of West Orange, NJ passed away on Friday September 30, 2022.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 8, 2022, at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St, West Orange at 9:30 a.m.

Then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave. in East Hanover, NJ.

Visiting will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. morning. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com

Gracie was born and raised in Bloomfield N.J.  After marrying Gene she moved to West Orange to raise her family. She worked as a secretary for Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Gracie was a member of the Rosary Alter Society of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, and a proud member of the Springfield Hillside Elks.

Grace was the beloved wife of 51 years of the late Eugene R Brennan. Devoted mother of George Barbaz and his wife, Barbara. Eugene M. Brennan and his wife, Barbara, Elizabeth Meleas and her husband, Theodore. Loving sister-in law of the late John J. Brennan & Margaret "Peggy" Brennan; cherished grandmother of Alec, Caitlin and Spiros; also survived by nephew and niece John Brennan & Eileen Blanchette.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Grace's name to the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital , or  American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robinsville, N.J. 08691-4183
