Carmela Cimino, 85

Carmela Cimino (nee Valente), 85, of West Orange, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.

 Visiting will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange (340 Main Street, West Orange) from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carmela’s name to: theZippyfund.org. (for pediatric cancer)

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Saint Raphael’s Church, 346 East Mt. Pleasant Ave. in Livingston at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Orange.  

Carmela was born and raised in Orange, living there before moving to West Orange in 1972. She was the Branch Manager for Wells Fargo Bank in Bloomfield. Carmela was a member of the Sons of Italy in Orange, and the Orange Reunion Committee.  She was an active parishioner of St. Raphael’s Church as well as a member of the Rosary Altar Society.

Carmela was the devoted mother of John and his wife Ellen, and Jim and his wife Judi. Loving sister of Lucy Farrell.  Cherished grandmother of Carly, Jami Lynn, Jason and Zippy.
