Francis “Frank” Vincent Volpe Jr., 75, of West Orange passed away on Friday September 7, 2018.

Visitation will be held on Thursday September 13, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street.  

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to: Our Lady of Lourdes Church Organ Fund, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange, NJ 07052 and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave., New York, NY 10065.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday September 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., in West Orange. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover.   

Frank was born in Newark and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. He was a School Teacher working at Mount Vernon School in Newark. Frank was a very involved parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, where he was a member of the Choir, a Daily Communicant, and a member of the Holy Name Society. He also was a long time bowler at Eagle Rock Bowling Lanes in West Orange.

Frank was the beloved son of the late Francis Sr. and Angela Volpe.  Loving brother of John Volpe and his wife Sherry, Joseph Volpe and his wife Charlene, and the late Terri Volpe. Cherished uncle of Joseph, Jonathan, Rachael, and Theresa. Great grand uncle of Gia.
