Obituary of Patsy Thomas Dandola

Pat Thomas Dandola, 92

 Pat Thomas Dandola, 92, of Boynton Beach FL, formerly of West Orange and Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away August 6, 2018.

 Visiting will be held on Friday August 10, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street. ​  ​

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517,Topeka, Kansas 66675.

 A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday August 11, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange, NJ 07052. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover. 

 Pat was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Orange, NJ. He lived and raised his family in West Orange before moving to South Carolina then to Florida. He was an executive and head pattern maker in the women’s garment industry working for over 30 years for Butte Knit, a division of the Jonathan Logan Corporation. Mr. Dandola proudly served in the United States Army during World War II, receiving 2 Bronze Stars for his actions during the Battle of the Bulge. 

 Pat was the beloved husband of 69 years to the late Florence Nora Dandola, who passed 4 months ago. He was the son of the late Giovanni and Rose (Ruggiero) Dandola. Devoted father of John and his wife Pat, Anthony and his wife Susan, Cathy Valli and her husband Bob, Rosemary Shropshire and her husband Tony, and David and his wife Kathy. Loving brother of Rachael Parlatore and the late Savy Dandola. Cherished grandfather of Amy, Anthony, Kevin, Lisa, Gregory, Glenn, Lauren, Michael, and Patrick.  Loving great-grandfather of Annabelle, Madison, Claire, Jack, and James. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
