Leopoldo B. Acevedo, 66, of West Orange passed away on Thursday June 14, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.  

Visiting will be held on Monday June 18, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to: Our Lady of Lourdes Rosary Altar Society, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange NJ 07052.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday June 19, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange, NJ 07052. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

Leopoldo was born and raised in Roxas City, Capiz in the Phillipines before moving to West Orange in 1991. Mr. Acevedo was a banker with PCIB. Leopoldo was a member of the Capizeno Circle. 

Leopoldo was the beloved husband of 41 years to Sylvia Acevedo (nee Altamia).  Devoted father of sons, Peter and Paul. Loving brother of Rudolfo Acevedo, and Myrna Villar.
