Obituary of Annie Theresa Rae

Annie Theresa (nee Maguire) Rae, 80

Annie Theresa Rae, 80 of Stanhope, formerly of West Orange, passed away on Friday May 4, 2018 at Morristown Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  

Visiting will be held on Thursday May 10, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street.   Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to: St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday May 11, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Avenue West Orange. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.     

Annie was born and raised in Gubaveeney, County Caven, Ireland, before moving to West Orange at age 15. She was a home maker caring for her family.  

Annie was the beloved wife of Daniel Rae, married 57 years. She was the devoted mother of Sharon Giuliano, Daniel Rae, Donna Cyrus and her husband Eugene III, and Thomas Rae. Cherished grandmother of Eugene Cyrus IV, Brianne Giuliano, and Jordan Cyrus. Loving sister of Maura Dower and the late Thomas, Cahail and Daniel Maguire.
