Domenick P. Tutalo Sr., 93

Domenick P.  Tutalo Sr., 93, of West Orange passed away on Monday April 23, 2018.  

Visiting will be held on Thursday April 26, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street.   Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday April 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Church, Valley Street in Orange. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.     

Domenick was born in Orange and was a lifelong resident of West Orange.  He was the owner & operator of DP Tutalo & Sons in West Orange. He also worked at Selecto Flash in West Orange. Domenick proudly served in the United States Marines, C Company First Battalion, 24th Regiment 4th Division. He fought on Iwo Jima during World War II, assigned as a flamethrower and demolition. He was a member of the VFW 367 West Orange, and the Marine Corp Air, Land, Sea Detachment 710.

Domenick was predeceased by his loving wife Mary Ellen (nee McDonough).  He was the devoted father of Domenick (Jennifer), Linda, Daniel (Karen). Cherished grandfather of Domenick 3rd , Gregory Jr., Patrick,  John (Natalie), Thomas (Gabriela), Cara (Kevin), Lisa (Steven), Brian (Melissa), Joey (Deanna), Daniel (Patti). Loving great grandfather of Gabriel, Jacob, Kylee, Steven, Sofia, Nicholas, Marlee, Sawyer, Roman, Brian, and Ariya. He is also survived by his aunt Annie DeZenzo, his in-laws, Dora DeJohn, Edward and Nancy McDonough, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Domenick was predeceased by his loving siblings; Rocco Tutalo and Lucy Parker, and his cherished granddaughter Dori-Lynn Dillon and son-in-law Gregory Dillon.
