Obituary of Grace Mary Lee

Grace M. Lee, 88

Grace Mary Lee (nee Romano), 88, of West Orange, NJ passed into eternal rest peacefully on March 19, 2018.

Visiting will be held on Sunday March 25, 2018 from 2-6 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Grace’s name to; West Orange Scholarship Fund c/o Jim Quinn, 23 Witte Place, West Orange, NJ 07052. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday March 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 44 Benvenue Ave. in West Orange.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover.   

Grace was born in Orange and moved to West Orange when she married the love of her life Jack.  She was a secretary for the West Orange Board of Education for 21 years and a wonderful cook.

Grace was predeceased by her husband Jack of 60 years in 2016. She is survived by her daughters; Theresa Washkewicz and her husband Joseph, Barbara Ievoli and her husband Michael and grandchildren Jacklyn Poulos and her husband Christopher, and Eric Washkewicz.  Grace was also predeceased by her parents Alfonse and Theresa Romano and siblings; Josephine Romano, Louis Romano, Samuel Romano, Mary Lee, Alfonse Romano, Patrick Romano and Anne Pescatore.
