Obituary of Theresa Volpe Michaelson

Theresa Volpe Michaelson, 69, Kinnelon

Theresa Volpe Michaelson , 69, of Kinnelon, passed away on February 26, 2018,

at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York City. Theresa was born in Newark and was raised in West Orange, prior to moving to Kinnelon 25 years ago.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07052. Visitation for Theresa will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018, from 2-6 PM, at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange, NJ 07052. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in Theresa’s name be made to the Our Lady of Lourdes Church, to aid with the purchase of  carpet for the Church.

Theresa was employed as a Food Scientist at Nabisco in East Hanover. She was active in the Porshe Club of North Jersey.

Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Robert Michaelson. She is survived by her loving brothers Francis Volpe Jr., John Anthony Volpe and Joseph Anthony Volpe. She was the caring aunt of  Teresa,  Rachel, Joseph and Jonathan, and great aunt of Gia.
