Obituary of Liliah Flammer

Liliah Flammer Liliah Helen Flammer, (nee Niemann) of South Orange went home to be with the Lord on Friday October 21, 2016. Liliah was he beloved wife of the late William J. Flammer (retired Deputy Fire Chief Orange Fire Department). She was the loving mother of Deborah Fitzpatrick and her husband Stephen, William Kerry Flammer and his wife Regina and Donnah Celentano and her husband John. Liliah was the cherished grandmother of Sean Fitzpatrick and his wife Meredith, Meghan Fitzpatrick Birkheimer and her husband Christopher, Erin Marie Celentano Lauretta and her husband Gregory, Gaetano Celantano, and William Flammer. She was the devoted great-grandmother of Garrett, Grady, Freddie, Abigail and Luca. Liliah is also survived by her caring companion Carla Clarke. Liliah was the daughter of Helen and Irving Niemann. She was raised in Orange and moved to South Orange 42 years ago. Liliah was a kindergarten teacher aide at Park Avenue School in Orange for many years. She was past president of the Senior Circle in South Orange and a member of the Rosary Altar Society at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 26 from 3-7 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Liliah's name to: South Orange Rescue Squad 62 Sloan Street South Orange, NJ 07079. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from the Dangler Funeal Home at 9:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect Street, South Orange, NJ 07079. Interment will follow at Pompton Reformed Church Cemetery in Pompton Lakes.
