Obituary of Cecilia Margaret Gibbons

Cecilia Margaret Gibbons, 73 Cecilia Margaret Gibbons, 73 of West Orange died Sunday August 21, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Visiting will be held on Thursday August 25, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street West Orange. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday August 26, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of The Valley Church 510 Valley Street Orange, NJ. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 225 Ridgedale Avenue East Hanover, NJ. Donations may be made in Cecilia's name to the West Orange Animal Shelter, 311 Watchung Avenue West Orange, NJ 07052. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Cecilia was born in Newark and moved to West Orange at the age of 10. Cecilia graduated from West Orange High School in 1960. Cecilia was a registered Nurse working as the Head Emergency Room Nurse at Saint Barnabas Medical Center for many years, then working at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orange before retiring at Saint Michael's Hospital in Newark. Cecilia was the loving mother of Kenneth Gibbons. Dear sister to James, Paul and Kevin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
