Obituary of James Vincent Attamante

James V. "Jim" Attamante James V. "Jim" Attamante, 64, of West Orange passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Mountainside Hospital. Visiting will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 3 to 7 PM, at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange Funeral Services will be held on Saturday 9:00 AM at the Dangler Funeral Home, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 30 North Fullerton Ave. in Montclair. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Jim was born and raised in Montclair before moving to West Orange 30 years ago. He worked for Pathmark Super Markets for 40 years, most recently as the Dairy Manager in Clifton where he retired. Prior to that, he taught History at Belleville High School for several years. Jim attended Immaculate Conception and graduated from William Paterson with a teaching degree. Jim was the beloved husband of 13 years of Elizabeth Attamante. Devoted father of Sarah Attamante. Cherished son of Carmela Attamante and the late Joseph Attamante. Loving brother of Joseph, Frank and John Attamante. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
