Richard J. Baier, 64 - Richard J. Baier, 64 Senior Systems Manager at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Richard J. Baier of Parsippany, NJ passed away 12/25/12. Friends and relatives may visit Saturday 1/5/13 from 1:00-4:00, with the services at 3:30 PM, at the Dangler Funeral Home, 340 Main St. West Orange, N.J. Richard was born and raised in East Orange, N. J. and spent the last 35 years in Parsippany, N. J. Richard was pre-deceased by his mother Dorothy Collins-Baier and father Richard Baier. Richard leaves cousins David J. Collins, wife Darcel, sons Tyler and Thomas, cousin Kathy Lindia-Gilotti, children Jeffry, Carolyn and Leslie and other cousins. Richard had received several masters degrees and was a member of the Erie Lackawanna Historical Society. Richard received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in 1976. Richard had an insatiable passion for model railroading along with the Steamtown a national monument in Scranton, Pa.
